New Skin, New Year, New You!

HAPPY NEW YEAR PHOENIX! Thought I'd start the year off right with a new resolution: to get healthier, happier skin! Here are some tips on how to make this resolution a reality.

The skin is the outer lay of the body, and it one of the largest organs humans have. The skin has multiple layers of tissue and protects the muscles, bones and internal organs. Skin plays a huge role in protecting the body from the environmental hazards that exist. It is extremely important to take good care of your skin.

To prevent dry skin from occurring, you can apply almond oil to it. Almond oil can be applied to your entire body, face included. After it is applied, do not rinse it off. Do, however, be aware of any allergies you might have. Apply the almond oil to a small area and check for an allergic reaction before applying it to your entire body.

A healthy skin regimen should include adequate vitamin intake. Vitamins A, C, and E are especially helpful to making skin look good. Egg yolk is full of vitamin A, and you can pat a little on trouble spots to help heal your skin. Moisturizers with vitamin C can help even out skin tones.

If you are a female, be careful with the type of makeup that you use. Try not to use a makeup with a lot of chemicals, which can harm the surface of your skin and starve your pores of oxygen. Find a mineral makeup that is made up of natural, breathable ingredients.

Your hands have some of the most sensitive skin on your body. During colder times of the year, it's very easy for them to dry out and crack so make sure you keep them moisturized. It's also a good idea to wear gloves to protect your skin when you go out in the cold. If you like to wear wool gloves, make sure you put a think cotton glove underneath it to keep the wool from irritating your skin.

To protect yourself from the sun, you should use sun screen. However, applying sun screen can actually be tricky. If you do not do it properly, you will clog your pores. Use a soft sponge to gently apply the sun screen, and allow it to penetrate your skin instead of staying at the surface.
Take skin care seriously, it is more then just keeping up appearances; skin care is vital to surviving.

Empowering Tips To Get You In Control Of Your Skin

Your skin is the largest organ in your body, and often a noticeable part of your appearance. Clear skin is beautiful, and proper skin care can prevent rapid aging and certain skin conditions. Read the tips in this article to ensure that you are taking care of your skin especially in these Phoenix weather conditions!

One of the best things you can remember for great skin is to eat the right kind of foods. A healthy balanced diet of key foods will help you to have good skin. Eat a good diet of things like nuts, seeds, eggs, and plenty of raw fruits and vegetables.

One way to improve your skin is to drink plenty of water. Water is the largest part of what makes us up our body at the cellular level; drinking lots of water will not only keep you hydrated, it will keep your cell walls nice and plump. You can also freshen your complexion throughout the day with a micro-mist of water on your face.

If you want clear skin, you may have to sacrifice something else. The agents in teeth whitening products may actually be to blame for those breakouts occurring around your lips and mouth. Stop the whitening and you will notice a significant difference in your skin. You can also try a different whitening product to see if you can avoid a reaction.

Hair care plays an essential part in managing acne. Shampoos and conditioners with harsh chemicals can sometimes clog pores when coming into contact with them. Oily hair due to minimal washing can also clog the pores. So, be sure to use a mild, gentle shampoo and conditioner, and wash your hair often.

Do not smoke if you want healthy skin. Smoking ages your skin, making you appear older than you really are. It causes the blood vessels in the top layers of skin to become thinner, decreasing blood flow, and causing the skin to be depleted of oxygen as well as other key nutrients. In addition, smoking causes the collagen fibers of your skin to weaken. These fibers are what give your skin strength as well as elasticity.

Sun exposure and smoking tobacco are very harmful to your skin, among other habits. Taking care of your skin is important in preventing skin cancer and other illnesses. In order to maintain clear, beautiful skin, remember all the tips in this article and apply them to your everyday life.
