Curl your eyelashes
Before putting on mascara curl your eyelashes! This can make all the difference in appearance when it comes to your eyelashes. Some people go one step farther and heat up the curler with a hair dryer before applying but be careful! This one takes practice and skill not to burn yourself or damage your eyelashes. Curling also makes it easier to apply your mascara and makes the effects of your makeup last longer! Bronzer & Blush The bronzer you use should not be going over all areas of your face. Mostly the bronzer is made to go under the “apple” of your cheek, under your cheekbones. This helps to enhance your cheeks and make your face appear more defined. The blush you use should go directly on the apple of your cheek, the top part that is most round. Be mindful that a little bit of blush goes a long way and we don’t want bright red spots. Just a touch of color can make you look more awake and bring out the colors of your hair, eyes, and other makeup effects. Eyeshadow Prep To get the best looking eyeshadow you can, prepping appropriately is most important! We all have the idea in our head of what it should look like and can be very disappointed when your hard work is done and it looks less than ideal. Not to mention you can end up working on your eyeshadow for HOURS with the perfect idea in mind. Prepping correctly means applying foundation or eyeshadow primer to your lids in order to give your shadow a proper foundation. This helps give your shadow a base and look more even when you do apply it. The next thing to make sure of is having a quality eyeshadow applicator brush. Not every brush is the same and some won’t apply the shadow the way you are wanting, ending in frustration and confusion! Take these tips and run with them! They can take you a long way into your beauty journey and help give you the foundation to keep trying more things!
